Ezrat Gvarim/1000 Bags

Book design for graduate project by Alma Hanegbi at Bezalel Department of Visual and Material Culture. The project explored the phenomenon in Haredi (ultra-orthodox Jewish) society in Jerusalem of men carrying their belongings in plastic bags instead of backpacks. The book consisted of images, maps, interviews, essays and various sources compiled into a journey reminiscent of wandering through the streets of Mea Shearim.
